A Word About Keeping False Gods Out of Your House and Off Your Property

According to St. Paul, these are evil spirits.

Keep them far from your home, kids, families and garden.

Back in the day people would put a statue of St. Francis in their backyard.  Or a statue of the Madonna in the front yard.  Today, times have changed.  You no longer see such statues anywhere.

Sanat Kumara, Pan, Venus, Shiva, Buddha and other pagan deities.  False idols.  For sale everywhere.  The name Buddha itself literally means "Lightbearer" - the same meaning as the name Lucifer.

The Apostle Paul, dealing with the same garbage in his day, noted the demonic nature of these idols - a warning that sincere New Agers and Christian sympathizers of the New Age Movement would do well to heed:

"What do I mean then?  That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?  No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons.  You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons."

-1 Corinthians 10: 14-22

  1. Thanks for saying this, JP. Here in Bavaria you can get Buddhas at the hardware store, but no Catholic statues. Not so long ago, Catholic missionaries went to South Asia and convinced the people to convert and to smash their idols...

  2. the popes' own garden in the vatican, not to mention their palace, features some of the finest collection of such "evil spirits". they guarded that "garbage" with great affection and i think all mankind should thank them for that.
