American College in Louvain (Leuven, Belgium)

The American College was founded here in 1857 for North American priests and seminarians.

They studied at the nearby philosophy and theology faculty of the Catholic Univeristy of Louvain, in French and Latin.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen studied here as did generations of fortunate American priests.
